Dunard Hawkcroft was a pyromaniac Breton whose fiery personality more often than not got him into trouble with all types of people. Despite being neutral in the war, he had thoughts of joining the Stormcloaks. Dunard also suffers from minor hypochondriasis, but is unconcerned about flames.
Early life and adolescenceEdit
Dunard was born and grew up in Wayrest, where he was constantly getting into trouble and fights. The former for starting fires, and the latter for his fiery personality - he was known for insulting anyone and everyone.
Dunard's younger brother, Dunstan, was born in 4E 172, when Dunard was 11. His father, Louis, died two years later of Rockjoint, the cause unknown. Dianne, their mother, was stricken mad with grief and blamed Dunard for the death of his father. He was cast out and forced to live on the streets. His ability with fire led to an envoy from a guild of assassins to contact him. The envoy's burnt body was found in an alley two weeks later.
Dunard had taken a small fortune of Septims from the corpse after he killed the envoy, and lived far better than before after that for a while.
The Flames of WayrestEdit
At eighteen, he got involved a brawl with a Nord by the name of Kjel Ironfist. Knowing he couldn't beat the brute conventionally, he took a torch from the wall and set Kjel's clothes on fire, killing him. However, the flames spread across the inn, burning it to the ground. Dunard and two patrons escaped, but the flames soon engulfed a quarter of the city. After being proved guilty, he was exiled from High Rock, and if he ever returned, the headsman would be getting extra pay.
Dunard fled to Skyrim, where he was not hunted. Events after his exile are currently majorly unknown, though he did try to join the Stormcloaks. Dunard is known to have met Lars Valerius at one point.
